Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Peter Kirov started playing soccer when he was 4 years old and played for FC Slavia for 12 years, the oldest soccer club in Bulgaria established in 1913. He studied at National Sports Academy, the second largest sports university in Europe, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in coaching football and a Master’s degree in Sports Management. He then became the youngest manager in the history of FC Slavia and led the team during the UEFA Cup campaign in 1993. After moving to the US, he coached Manchester United Soccer School in Seattle, Washington, for 3 years. He has been the Arsenal Soccer Schools Hawaii, Director of Coaching since 2009. Peter is one of the four coaches with UEFA “A” License and the only coach with FA Academy Managers License in the U.S.
